Itinerary:
In the morning, our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and travel to Alexandria, where you will meet your private tour guide.
Upon arrival, enjoy visiting the top attractions in Alexandria, such as: Kom el Shoqafa catacombs, A Roman burial site with a family tomb that demonstrates the fusion of Egyptian and Roman art and architecture.
We’ll descend underground to see the tomb and Caracalla Hall.
Then we’ll move to the pillar of Pompey To honor Emperor Diocletian, who liberated the besieged city and brought food to its starving people, an 82-foot (25-meter) granite column was built.
Next we’ll go to the Citadel of Qaitbay A fortress built in the 15th century on the Mediterranean coast. Sultan AlAshraf Qa’it Bay founded it in 1477 AD.
The Qaitbay Citadel is located in the same area as Pharaoh’s Island.
Afterwards, Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant, followed by a visit to: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, also known as the Library of Alexandria, is a renowned institution.
The library houses a vast collection, including a copy of every book ever published, making it one of the world’s great literary institutions.
The library also houses several exhibitions about Egypt’s history, as well as a display of rare historic books.
Finally, our representative will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo.
